Amigurumi sheep plush toyFree crochet pattern


These sweet amigurumi sheep are created in the blink of an eye! The pattern is super-easy and perfect for beginners.
To crochet plush sheep amigurumi you’ll need:
Alize Cotton Gold yarn for legs, ears and muzzle

YarnArt Dolce (or Sirdar Smudge yarn) for head and body

2.0 mm and 3.5mm crochet hooks.
Stuffing
White felt and black beads for eyes

Black embroidery floss

Note: the yarn choice is critical in this case. If you want to get a sheep like on the photo, please use specified yarn.

Abbreviations:

sc = single crochet

st = stitch

inc = increase

dec = decrease
Stuff the parts as you go excepting the ears.
Head:

Start with Alize Cotton Gold, take 2.0 mm crochet hook

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring

Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 3: (sc in the next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18]

Rnd 4: (sc in the next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24]

Rnd 5: (sc in the next 3 st, inc) repeat 6 times [30]

Rnd 6: (sc in the next 4 st, inc) repeat 6 times [36]

Rnd 7-12: sc in all 36 st.

Rnd 13: (sc in the next 4 st, dec) repeat 6 times [30]

Rnd 14-15: sc in all 30 st.

Rnd 16: (sc in the next 3 st, dec) repeat 6 times [24]

Change yarn to YarnArt Dolce and take 3.5 mm crochet hook.

Rnd 17-19: sc in all 24 st.

Rnd 20: (sc in the next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times [18]

Rnd 21: (sc in the next st, dec) repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 22: (dec) repeat 6 times

Fasten off, hide the ends.

 

Ear: (make 2)

With Alize Cotton Gold and 2.0 mm crochet hook

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring

Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 3-9: sc in all 12 st

Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
Body:

With YarnArt Dolce yarn and 3.5 mm crochet hook

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring

Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]

Rnd 3: (sc in the next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18]

Rnd 4: (sc in the next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24]

Arms:

Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
Assemble all the parts, attach the eyes and embroider the muzzle. Your sheep amigurumi is done! 🙂
