19 stitches and 24 rows over 10cm square pattern on 4mm needles
It’s important to work on the stated tension to achieve succress.
Cast on 29 sts with 4mm needles ~ this is what is required for my square, which when finished will approximately 15cm x 15cm.
1st Row : (RS) k1, *p1, k1 rep from *to end
2nd Row: p1, *k1, p1, rep from *to end
3rd Row: p1, *k1, p1, rep from *to end
4th Row: k1, *p1, k1 rep from *to end
Rep these 4 rows 8 times more or until work measures 15cm.
Cast off knitwise working into the back of each st.
Place the square (or however big you piece of work is) on a flat padded surface and ease out to correct dimensions, pinning around edges as necessary.
Cover with a clean, lightly dampened cloth and leave until square and cloth are dry.
Store the square (or your piece of work) until your ready to sew it together if you decide to make a throw, if not, your project will be finished!!
Follow me to receive new stitches, new squares, for your throw.
I’m using DK wool, and it’s great to use up your odd balls of wool up!!
