Long rib scarf 

You will need:

7 x 50g balls of Debbie bliss cash merino DK shade 063 Amber

4mm needles

Tapestry needle

Abbreviations

Beg:beginning , cm:centimetres , cont:continue , k:knit , p:purl , patt:pattern , rep:repeat ,

 RS:right side , st(s):stitches , WS:wrong side 

Size

20cm wide x 175cm long

Tension

33 sts and 36 rows measure 10cm square over rib pattern (slightly stretched) worked on 4mm needles.

How to knit the scarf 

With 4mm needles cast on 67 sts.

Work in rib as follows:

1st row: (RS) k3, *p2,k2, rep from * to last 2 sts, p1, k1.

2nd row: k1, *p2, k2, rep from * to last two sts, p1, k1.

These 2 rows form rib pattern. Continue in pattern until scarf measures 175cm from beg, ending with a WS row (p)

Cast off in rib patt.

Making up

Sew in loose ends of wool.

Do not iron/press.
