Project for beginners in knitting

You will need:

4 x 100g chunky wool

Pair of 10mm knitting needles

1 x stitch marker

Tapestry needle

Size:                                                                Tension:

Circumference: 182cm                               9 sts and 22 rows measure 10cm square in g st on 10mm needles.

Width: 28cm                                                  It is essential to work to the stated tension to achieve success.
Abbreviations 

G st = garter stitch

K = knit

St(s) = stitch (es)

How to knit the cowl

With 10mm needles cast on 150 sts.

Row 1 – 62: k to end (150 sts) 

Every row is a knit row.

To make up:

Do not iron.

Cast off.

Sew short ends together to form a tube.

Weave in ends using tapestry needle.
